Massage Therapists in Montreal may be easy enough to come by, but finding one that knows how to combine multiple techniques along with intuitive energy healing, is much harder.
If you've been following My Health Montreal for a while now, you might already be familiar with Kyle Murray.
On top of being a massage therapist, Kyle is the co-owner of a pilates studio called J.K. Pilates, he's the founder of a spiritual growth group called Level Up, he's an energy practitioner, and he's also an incredibly talented up and coming rap artist to boot! To listen to his latest tracks, you can simply head on over to Spotify and search Kmurrs.
Although we'd love to tell you about all of his businesses and talents today, in this blog, we'll be talking about Kyle in his role as a massotherapist. So without further ado, let's dive in!
Kyle Murray's Journey
Kyle first became interested in the idea of becoming a massage therapist when he was about 18 years old.
Before he fully embraced the idea of working as a massotherapist though, he worked in a variety of physically demanding jobs. One of the last ones being construction.
During that time, he ended up developing severe back and sciatica pain. It was so severe that he had no choice but to see a massage therapist.
The pain along with the relief that he was able to find led him to realize that it was time for him to make a change. As you might have already guessed, that's when he decided to become a massage therapist.
Kyle earned his certification as a massage therapist after completing a two-year long intensive program. When we asked Kyle what kind of massage he specializes in, he told us that his style can be best described as intuitive massage.
He essentially combines many techniques and or styles based on what he feels the body needs most. Kyle also told us that he continues to take workshops, classes, and or seminars in order to further expand upon the wealth of knowledge that he already has.
On top of being a massage therapist, Kyle is also an energy practitioner. This allows him to help those dealing with emotional blockages to find a deeper sense of relief than in traditional massage.
What Else Should You Know?
Unlike many massotherapists, Kyle gives consultations late into the evening. He does this is for two main reasons:
To provide his clients with a wider range of availabilities
To help people that have a difficult time sleeping to finally get some rest
Kyle told us that by getting a massage later into the evening you're much more likely to have a restful night's sleep. I mean it makes sense considering how most people have a tendency to doze off during a massage no matter what time of day it is right?
For those who find themselves feeling really sleepy, it might be worth asking a trusted friend or family member to come and pick you up after receiving a message later in the evening. This will allow you to stay in a calm and restful state for even longer.
Kyle also offers chair massage which is a great addition to any health and wellness event. It can be a great addition to corporate events too.
What are Kyle's customers saying?
Having worked with Kyle for a little while now, we have no doubt that he's an incredible massage therapist. He puts his heart and every bit of his soul into all that he does and he does it in a way that's unique to who he is as a person.
But with being said, let's be honest, client reviews never hurt anyone right? So let's take a look at what some of Kyle's clients had to say.
One of his clients said "Kyle is a knowledgeable and truly gifted bodyworker. His approach in massage is holistic, addressing any physical tension as well as the chronic misalignments & underlying energetic blockages that may be causing them.
Using a variety of strokes & techniques to access the “issues in the tissues”, Kyle helps the body release and ultimately creates a profound feeling of ease, flow, and overall wellness. I absolutely love his brand of massotherapy and feel the cumulative effects of working with his regularly!! Highly recommended!"
Another one of his clients said "Kyle is a sublime healer and truly gifted. His extraordinary technique, keen intuition, and powerful energy combine to provide healing that is incredibly profound.
On all levels, Kyle can divine what your body & spirit call for and customize your treatment to release what you no longer need, ease pain, and help you feel lighter in every sense of the word. Thank you Kyle you are a gift!"
Talk about amazing! We can't wait to hear even more reviews from his clients in the near future.
