Joudi Mokhtar is a holistic health coach and the founder of Healthy Bites MTL.
Before she even said a single word we could feel all of the love, passion, and excitement literally radiating off of her.
Just like sunshine, she fills up a room with nothing but pure joy. She created Healthy Bites MTL with the intention of creating a space where everyone is welcome.
Combining food and supplements onto one platform, she feels that both play an equally important role in the state of our health. Catering to Vegan, Paleo, Ketogenic diets, and more, she believes that there's no one diet for everyone, but instead that there's a perfect diet for each of our specific needs.
She has a passion for combining Chinese medicine, Herbology, Reflexology, and so much more together because she knows that it takes many different forms of healing and not just one to heal completely.
Acting as a trustworthy guide through the oftentimes confusing world of health and nutrition, Joudi makes being healthy easier than ever.

Joudi Mokhtar’s Journey to Health
Like so many health professionals, Joudi entered into the world of health looking to heal herself.
At the age of 21, she developed severe acne. On top of that, she'd fallen into a deep state of stress.
From there, she became an emotional eater and over the years would waver back and forth from not eating at all to overeating.
This was all happening as she entered into the world of health.
While she was learning all that there is to know about health, she soon came to see herself and the issues that she was suffering within the texts that she was reading and in the words of her trusted colleagues.
She suffered from acne for about 7 years until she finally found the remedies that worked for her to be able to heal her skin as well as her overall health. She learned that when it comes to health, it isn’t ever just one thing.
The foods you eat, your state of mind, the people that you surround yourself with, and so much more will affect your health. Having recently lost about 20 pounds and on a mission to lose about 20 more she walks the talk that she teaches. #Fabulous

Her Mission
She wants to create a safe space for those looking for guidance in the realm of health and nutrition. Something that Joudi brought up in our interview was that it can be incredibly overwhelming for most people to navigate through the world of dieting and nutrition.
There are so many extremes and polar opposite diets that exist out there which makes it really challenging to know which one is the right diet for you. In her coaching, she focuses more on getting to the root of the problem than on any specific diet.
Working this way is a much more effective way of achieving long term results. Like so many of us, she knows that almost nothing happens overnight. But with her guidance, you’ll get one step closer to achieving your health goals every single day.

What Makes Her Different?
She’s not just a coach, she’s a friend. Although Joudi appreciates every single one of her Instagram followers, she told us that she isn’t in it to be Instagram famous. She’s in it to genuinely help every person that she can.
No matter if you’re going through a small health issue or a huge one, Joudi’s level of compassion and empathy always come through. She wants you to know that you’re not alone in what you’re going through, and if she doesn’t have the answers you’re looking for, she’s more than happy to connect you to someone that does.
Having moved to Lebanon with her family at the age of 10 for about 5 years she was able to learn about the importance of family. Through her community on Instagram, she’s able to bring back that sense of family into her life and into the lives of those she connects with.
What’s next for Joudi
Right now Joudi’s working to Launch her own Healthy Meal Prep business (which we can’t wait to try by the way). On top of that, she’ll also be releasing her very own healthy cookbook!
When we asked her about her cooking style she described it as a healthier version of Mediterranean cuisine. Can you please sign us up?!
She's also venturing into the world of modeling and will be collaborating with many well known natural cosmetic brands.

What else should you know?
Joudi also collaborates with other health care professionals on a regular basis. Most recently, she interviewed Nurse Melanie that has a Nomadic Nurse Agency.
Outside the world of health, she's been a part of many interviews related to her volunteer work.
She was interviewed by Fariha Naqvi Mohamed from City TV in 2018 when major flooding affected a large part of the Montreal population.
Acting as a volunteer helping to set up sandbags and support local businesses as well as schools, she was on the front lines, like always, supporting her community.
She was recently interviewed by Malik Shaheed alongside the famous Canadian Lebanese recording artists, producer, and percussionist Fadi K.O.D.
In the interview, they spoke about the fundraising events currently taking place in order to provide relief and support to the people in Lebanon. Just like Jenny from the block, her roots are deeply seeded in Lebanese culture which makes recent events as close to home as they could possibly get.
She was also featured on 94.7 hits FM during the opening of a New Second Cup coffee shop on Sources Boulevard. Being someone that specializes in the world of health and nutrition, she was able to talk about all the healthy ingredients that are used in the Second Cup Smoothies.
Made from real fruit and containing healthy fats, fiber as well as protein, their smoothies are a much healthier choice than what you'd find in many other well-known coffee shops.
She’s been invited to TAU’s anniversary parties as an influencer as well Ki Nature et Santé and Health Tree. She’s also been invited to many well-known supplement and food brand events such as Aurora Imports which was a special invite from the events host Chef Christian Pritchard from Breakfast Television. She’s been a part of the CHFA and Expo Santé with Flora.
She was also invited to the Launch of Emani Cosmetics which took place in TAU's West Island location. Very soon she'll be expanding her horizons to Ottawa as well!
