The Mind Body Academy Journey
Like so many health and wellness professionals, Sarah’s journey into the industry started with her trying to heal herself. After going through an incredibly difficult series of events, Sarah ended up developing severe depression and an eating disorder. As time passed, she felt as if she could no longer recognize herself.
She did the best she could to survive, until one day, her body forced her to stop.
The sounds of nurses talking, concerned family members whispering to one another and the low murmuring of machines filled the room. As she opened her eyes, she quickly came to realize that she was lying in a hospital bed.
Wake up calls come in all shapes and sizes, but this one, was about as scary as it gets. After she learned what had happened, and she had some time for it to fully sink in, she realized that she needed to make a change. She also realized for the very first time that the change she needed to make wasn’t physical, it was mental. From that moment on, her life began to change.
Sarah Rose's Credentials
Sarah’s experiences lead her to study psychology as well as neuroscience in University.
While she was there though, she quickly came to realize that what she wanted to do wasn't being taught in the classes she was taking. Something was missing, but she couldn’t quite put her finger on it.
As Sarah continued to search for the information she was looking for, she discovered a book called The Art of Non-Conformity by Chris Guillebeau. It was this book that taught her what she needed to know.
She made an incredibly brave decision to leave the program she was in and instead spent the next year healing, learning, and building the foundation of her dream life and dream company.
In one year she read over 100 books and by the end of it, she’d launched her very own coaching business.
Oh and in case we forgot to mention it, she's certified as:

She also continues to educate herself regularly through books, peer-reviewed articles, and so much more.
Sarah's mission is to help people lose weight without losing their minds. It's also to make sure that no one ever has to go through what she went through on her own.
